First, it can be used for live audio monitor remotely with unlimited range to your smartphone anytime / anywhere with wifi access on 4G or wifi router. This is achieved by downloading free CamSC Pro app from your app store and connect recorder to designated wifi router by entering wi-fi router name and password. Within seconds you are up and running to enable live audio with crystal clear clarity, you can then set to record audio constantly or sound activation for 1 or 5 minute files and continues recording if sound is still present. When activated you can receive push alert notifications to your phone to then listen live, or download recording. You can switch notifications on/off, set sound activated sensitivity, delete recordings, change settings at anytime.

Second, the microphone has excellent audio quality to ensure high fidelity live audio and recordings, when played back you will be amazed at what it can hear. Recording requires microSD memory card and supports 8GB-128GB memory capable of storing 3 months of continuous recording. App also supports cloud storage (fee applies) and recorder still requires memory card for cloud storage. It has loop recording if memory card is full it will continue recording by deleting the oldest files. Works connected to charger or external battery pack for long periods of use without attention.

Three working modes as below:

1, Continuous record mode

Connected to the network user can check live audio at any time and record continuously. In this mode listening live and recording non stop battery lasts 7-8 hours (current consumption is 80mA). Continuous recording without live audio battery lasts 12-14 hours (current consumption is 50mA).

2, Power saving mode A - Connected to the network user can check live audio at any time, receive push notifications and record audio when sound-activated. In this mode battery lasts up to 14 days (Standby current consumption is 1.6mA) based on 5 activations recording / live audio for approximately 15 minutes per day, the more activations and live monitoring the less battery lasts.

3, Power saving mode B -  Connected to the network user can ONLY monitor live audio within 1 minute of each sound-activation, receive push notifications and record audio when sound-activated. In this mode battery lasts up to 20 days (Standby current consumption is 1.6mA) based on 5 activations recording / live audio for approximately 15 minutes per day, the more activations and live monitoring use less battery lasts.

Optional: If needed, recorder can be plugged to phone charger or external battery for long term operation. 5v power bank battery (portable phone charger) can be used to extend battery life. If used with external 10000mA portable power bank battery on continuous record will last  over 112 hours instead of 7 hours. 10000mA / 80mA @ 90% = 112 hours plus internal battery of 7 hours. As an example in mode A battery standby time is around 232 days and in mode B over 300 days (without any live audio / recording) .
